Remote Control Decoders & Encoders
The BC721x series remote control decoder/encoder chips are designed to decode remote signals from a receiver front-end into UART serial data that can be read directly by PCs or micro-controllers. Conversely, BC7215 can receive data from PCs or MCUs and encode it into remote control signals in specified formats.
The BC7210A, BC7211, and BC7215 are used for Infrared (IR) remote encoding and decoding, while the BC7213 is used for wireless (RF) remote decoding.
