The BC7213 supports the decoding of signals from common RF wireless remote control chips found in the market. It is also applicable to infrared (IR) remote controls utilizing the same encoding formats.

  • Supported Encoder Chips Include: PT2260, PT2262, PT2264, EV1527, HS2240, CMT21xx, the HCS1xx through HCS5xx Rolling Code series, and other compatible chips.

  • Typical Applications: Garage door controllers, lighting controllers, fan controllers, remote switches, and similar products.

Design Advantages: Designing with the BC7213 allows a single hardware configuration to adapt to various remote control chips. It requires no address settings and no manual “learning” process (controlled via software).
